This mobile home awning project in Charlotte, Texas combines all steel awnings with metal-framed decks. The owner of this mobile home wanted to add awnings to the front and back of their home. After seeing that we could also frame a deck in metal, they were sold on the idea because of how long it will last. The smaller awning and deck both measure 5’x7′ and has a custom ramp on the side of the deck. The posts of the deck were surrounded by concrete. The decking is pressure treated 1″ decking planks. As of the date of this posting, the owner had not yet completed the concrete portion of the ramp.
The larger of the metal awnings is attached to the front of the mobile home. We built the deck and awning all in one frame and attached it to the home, as well as stabilized the posts by burying them in the ground along with concrete. The awning portion of the project measures 12’x24′. It’s attached to the deck, which measures 10’x24′. The decking is pressure treated 1″ decking planks. On both sides of the deck are custom metal steps with handrails.

This indoor pool home addition in San Antonio was a multi-step job, designed by the home owner and the owner of our company. Together, they came up with a design to add on to the already existing metal home. To begin with, an underground pool was installed next to the existing home. From there, we built on to the existing home and around the new pool, a 1400 sq foot room. The entire structure, frame and all, was done with solid steel. We also added air conditioning ducts and all electrical. Inside the new pool room we included a small utility room to house the pool pump and supplies.
On the existing home was a 450 sq foot open garage. We enclosed that space and added an additional 450 sq feet to match the pool room. Again, all steel components were used in the framing and roofing. An Environmentally Safe foam insulation was sprayed between the layers of metal and drywall to ensure a perfect seal.
All of the tile work, painting, electrical, insulation and concrete were done either by us, or with our constant supervision.
