This mobile home metal roof in La Vernia was a multistep process. Totaling 102 feet from tip to tip, the metal roof and carport combination is meant to protect for years to come. This 72′ foot mobile home needed a new roof, and instead of the traditional method, we were able to apply a metal roof system without compromising the home itself. The use of a floating truss system kept the metal panels off of the top of the roof of the home, and had it sit just above it, insulating between the new roof and the old roof. This not only minimized any outside noise, but also cooled the house more in the summer and warmer in the winter!
Attached to the end of the home is a 24′ long carport. On the front of the home, an all metal awning was added over the existing deck. This metal awning measures 33′ long. In addition to the awning, the walkway from the metal carport is also covered, measuring 8’x15′. All of the exposed metal was painted to the customer’s specs to match the trim of the home.
Also on this property was a pre-existing two car carport. The customer requested an addition to include room for one more car. We added an 18′ long addition and enclosed it on the side and the back with metal R panels.

This custom attached carport in North San Antonio was the brain child of a man in love with his classic cars. The garage to this home was set off to the side, so the carport had to be built in a way where a driver could easily make their way in and out of the garage.
The carport will protect his cars from the Texas heat! No more scalding his rear getting into an old classic car with vinyl seats. This great home improvement will not only be functional, it will increase the value of his home. He will also save time by not having to wash his car every time we get a light drizzle. Even though we don’t get many cold days here in SA with his new carport he won’t have to scrape anymore windshields.
These beauties will have a long life of protection thanks to this custom built all steel carport. We used 3″ 11 gauge square tubing set at 24’x33′ covered with 26″ gauge R Panels. The owner has the peace of mind that his amazing classic cars will have protection for years to come.

This stand alone carport in South San Antonio, with a color matched A frame, was this customer’s request. With a single car driveway, this customer wanted a very nice carport. The a frame gives it a very nice look and appeal.
The poles are 10 foot tall. It is 12 foot wide by 18 foot long.
