This custom all steel pole barn in Pipe Creek, Texas was built for the same customer as the all metal pavilion seen here. It measures 30’x20’x9′ and was framed with 3″x3″ 14 g. square tubing. An 8″ purlin was used for the center beam, and 6″ purlin was used for the rafters. Each post was set into dug out rock and sealed in concrete, which helps the structure stand firm in most storms and inclement weather. Three sides of the pole barn were enclosed, and along with the roof were covered in 26 gauge galvalume R-panels.

This custom gabled pavilion, measuring 30’x25′, was built in Pipe Creek, Texas and custom designed to fit with the existing outdoor fireplace. The pavilion was built on a pre-existing concrete slab that had preset metal plates. It was also built in and amongst mesquite trees, which we left as many uncut as possible at the request of the owners.
The pavilion was built with 4″ posts and 8″ purlin for the frame. Its gabled roof is topped with 26 gauge galvalume R-panels. As mentioned before, the concrete had preset plates, which we firmly welded the posts to. The highest point of the gable is 9.5 feet in the center, and gables down to 9 foot on each side.

The customer requested an awning that would allow her to enjoy her porch whether rain or shine. As a result, we were able to provide the customer in Pleasanton, Texas with a custom attached 25’x12′ all steel porch awning. The awning is attached to the home and sealed using a 25 year urethane caulk.
This awning was built using 4″ square tubing for the posts and a custom designed center I-Beam for the strength of the structure.

This awning replacement Canyon Lake project started when the customer wanted the old awning gone, so we had to tear down the existing aluminum awning before we could begin. The awning was replaced and in addition we added a carport to make it an all in one structure. The awning itself measures 14’x30′. It carries on into one structure to create a 20’x20′ carport. All of this structure is attached to the home.
About this awning replacement Canyon Lake project
Replacing an old awning is a different job than starting from scratch, because the existing structure has to come down first. The photos above show the aluminum awning before it was removed, followed by the finished result. In its place, the home now has a 14’x30′ awning that runs into a 20’x20′ carport, so the covered outdoor space and the covered parking share one roofline and both are attached to the house.
