This attached 2 car carport in NW San Antonio, Texas was built at the customer’s request as a two car carport attached to their home. Also, it was requested that the frame be painted to match the trim of the home. This 20’x20′ carport was built using 14 g. steel posts and 26 g. r-panels.

The homeowner wanted covered parking for two vehicles right against the house, so the carport is a 20’x20′ structure attached to the home. The frame is built on 14 gauge steel posts, and the roof is 26 gauge r-panel, a ribbed metal roofing panel with raised ribs that run down the slope. Matching the frame color to the home’s trim helps the carport look like part of the house instead of an add-on. This indoor pool home addition in San Antonio was a multi-step job, designed by the home owner and the owner of our company. Together, they came up with a design to add on to the already existing metal home. To begin with, an underground pool was installed next to the existing home. From there, we built on to the existing home and around the new pool, a 1400 sq foot room. The entire structure, frame and all, was done with solid steel. We also added air conditioning ducts and all electrical. Inside the new pool room we included a small utility room to house the pool pump and supplies.
On the existing home was a 450 sq foot open garage. We enclosed that space and added an additional 450 sq feet to match the pool room. Again, all steel components were used in the framing and roofing. An Environmentally Safe foam insulation was sprayed between the layers of metal and drywall to ensure a perfect seal.
All of the tile work, painting, electrical, insulation and concrete were done either by us, or with our constant supervision.
