This attached 2 car carport in NW San Antonio, Texas was built at the customer’s request as a two car carport attached to their home. Also, it was requested that the frame be painted to match the trim of the home. This 20’x20′ carport was built using 14 g. steel posts and 26 g. r-panels.

The homeowner wanted covered parking for two vehicles right against the house, so the carport is a 20’x20′ structure attached to the home. The frame is built on 14 gauge steel posts, and the roof is 26 gauge r-panel, a ribbed metal roofing panel with raised ribs that run down the slope. Matching the frame color to the home’s trim helps the carport look like part of the house instead of an add-on.
