The all steel carport measures 18’x20′. It was left primed and ready for the customer to paint the color of their choice.

This porch addition carport project in South San Antonio was requested by a customer who wanted the porch tied in with the carport. We custom designed the two so that it would be seamless and with fewer poles than if they were separate. The all steel patio measures 12’x10′. The all steel carport measures 20’x18′. The two are tied together with overlapping panels that make it all one single structure. Customer requested frame to be painted to match home.

Many homeowners need both a shaded spot to sit outside and covered parking, and building them as one structure is a practical way to get both. Here, the 12’x10′ steel patio and the 20’x18′ steel carport share a roof line, joined by overlapping panels. Because the two sections support each other, the design needed fewer poles than two separate structures would have, which leaves more open space underneath.
